How You Can Improve All of Your Communications
Improving Public Speaking should not just be about improving your presentations, it should be about improving ALL of your communications.

It's too easy for courses and coaches to focus on trite skills instead of your underlying ability to communicate. Good Public Speaking is the art of communicating with groups large and small and you will find it changing the way you communicate with individuals, as well.
In feedback to my work, my clients have said things like,
"This isn't going to just change the way I present at work, it's going to change my home life as well!" - Department of Treasury Professional
This is because when developing Authentic Speaking(R) I knew the necessity of understanding how we communicate as being key to becoming a more confident and inspiring speaker.
So, Peter, what are you talking about? What is one of the keys?
One of the keys is understanding that communicating is about connecting with others. It's not just about presenting your opinion or statement and leaving it to be digested with awe. Communication is a two-way process that requires you connecting with the other party so that you and they can understand each other.
There are a myriad of ways to connect - sometimes in very surprising ways. But connecting is vital to communication and to public speaking.
